  • Should I keep using Diskeeper

I have been asked by management as to whether I want to continue our maintenance on this application.

As far as I can tell, it is only loaded on a select number of file servers. The cost is $1,400 for the year. Is it worth keeping?

Re: Should I keep using Diskeeper

Without a doubt, disk fragmentation is a reality on any Windows system, especially file servers. IMHO, Diskeeper is the premier product in disk defragmentation. If it were me I would renew the maintenance and support. Diskeeper has plenty of whitepapers you can use to justify the expenditure if needed. They also have a network based fragmentation analyzer you can use to perform some comparitive analysis on systems with and without Diskeeper installed.
