  • how to set a common desktop background to all users in xp

hello everyone.i would like to know is there a way to tweak the registry so when a new user is added to the system to get a customized desktop image (company logo) and a default page of my own? the OS is win xp pro sp2 and is not part of a domain.i already done it for a single user with a .reg file but i need to make sure that this will happen if new users are added later...got any ideas?

There are several ways to achive this goal.

    1. Create a customized profile and copy it to the default user profile.
New users get a copy of the default user profile.

2.Create a Group policy that sets the desktop image.

....now you'll hit me (and you'll be right!!!)...that's what i did...i used n-lite to get the iso,but i don't know how to customize the desktop to use my own background...the question is,after the installation of custom xp (made with nlite) when i create a new user, does he get the customized desk or not?that's my need.to make a desktop common for all nlite (future) users.
i hope you understand what i mean...
