I looked at it early on. If it were free I might use it at home, but I wouldn't pay to use it.

Wait for M80arm to read this thread. He has played with it and is fairly familiar with it.

For the IT Professional there is probably no use for it. For the home user who wants to share their photos, files etc on the Net for their friends etc to access it is a reasonably good product. Like all things you really need to have a reason for using it otherwise no point in having it.

        Re: Windows Home Server

New info about Home Server I just discovered.

        http://www.computerworld.com/action/...icleId=9054178

As stated in the article Microsoft is aware of the problem and I would suspect are working on a fix.

This thread is being moved to the Misc Forum.

Been extremely busy to say the least.

Buried in a Citrix project for the past, well, 16 months to be honest, the last 6 months of which we have been plagued with issues.

We also put our house on the market and moved.

Beyond that, trying to raise a daughter, keeping the wife happy, and what feels like hundreds of other things.

I tried to redeem myself somewhat by posting in the VMware forum this afternoon. I replied to about a page worth of posts.

There might be a light at the end of the tunnel, with the Power Pack 1 package Microsoft announced.
