  • saving mouse settings...

so how come every time i set my mouse sensitivity up, the next time i logon its back to the slow ass mouse?

ive tried to change the settings, then logoff, hoping it would save the settings, but to no avail.

its more an annoyance, but i have a 22 inch wide-screen and the extra real-estate facilitates the need for a turbo mouse...

    what gives??

    Wireless mouse?
    Optical mouse?
    Laser Mouse?
    Ball mouse ?
Does the mouse come with software that you have installed?
User account when logged on, any restrictions?

its a synaptics pad, but windows fails to save the settings regardless of the type mouse. i cant say so for a ball ps/2 mouse, as the laptop doesnt have ps/2 ports, and i have a habit of ripping the balls from those types mice so can play with them while i wait for things to finish...

i have just decided to move my hand faster to accommodate my laptops inability to save settings.

im just gonna wipe that thing down anyways. i have 3 installs on it, and its not worth my time to figure it out... i just wanted to see if anyone had any ideas, as Google revealed nothing enlightening or entertaining.

      thanks Biggles.
