  • Subnetting and Internet bridge

Subnets are not my area of expertise. I am considering splitting a class C network into two broadcast domains.

    192.168.0.0 / 255.255.255.128

    My two subnets with be
    192.168.0.1 - 192.168.0.126
    192.168.0.129 - 192.168.0.254

I want to connect both networks to one Internet connection. Do I need a router on each subnet? Is that the only way?

    Thanks

Not neccessarily. If the router has two ethernet interfaces (internal) you can connect each subnet directly to the same router. The router will then handle routing to and from the correct subnet and from subnet to subnet.
