  • Windows CE Printing Status Messages

    Hi all,

Does anyone know how to turn off the Windows CE Networking printing status message after you have printed a job to a network printer?

It pops up everytime you print, and its really annoying.

    I am using a HP T5530 running CE 5.0

    Thanks all

    Simon

Normally this is configured on the print server
(on 2K3 server, open "Printers and Faxes", go to FILE--SERVER PROPERTIES--ADVANCED--NOTIFY WHEN REMOTE DOCUMENTS ARE PRINTED
Do non-thin clients get it as well?

      Hi,

Thanks for your reply, I will check your suggestion and let you know my findings.

I think our xp users may get a note but I am unsure.

      Many thanks

Does it make sense to anyone? Not really had much experience of the thin clients, not to that depth anyway?

              Thanks
