  • What is difference between 64bit & dual core? [was: I am new here ...]

    hi my name is Tomer , from isreal .
    this is my first topic .
    i know that it isn't the right place but
    i have question in hardware and I don't know where can I ask it .
    i want to buy a new computer and my dilemma is about the processor
    what is the difference between 64 bit to dual core ???

    Both Intel and AMD can handle 64bit extensions.
    AMD 64 X2 and Intel DUO have two cpu's on one die.

      How hard is that. If you read the list of Forums on this site, you may have seen one called Misc and see what the description says. Hardware, software and stuff that doesn't fit into any of the available categories.

      An appropriate Topic would also be beneficial if you want answers to your posts.
