  • Adding Win98SE client to a Windows 2003 domain (was:help fast)

    i am suppose to put win 98se pc onto the domain server 2003
    i dont have a clue where to start but i know for win 2000 and xp which is generally easy please help.give guidelines and step by step instructions of what to do and this is for a small organization.we are using lan and static tcp/ip adressess

    Migrate the win98 box to at least 2k. AFAIK it isn't a supported os anymore.

        If your machine won't support Windows 2000 or better, or if the organisation won't pay for it, you'll have to try to find the "Directory Services Client" software and install that; you may find it on the Windows Server 2003 CD.

          Let me know if you need the AD client for Win9x. I have it.

          It doesn't do much but add site awareness and a little support for DFS if I remember corerctly.
