It seems RSE721 is a dialer.

What happens if you let Spybot remove the link and then manually create the shortcut to the .exe? Will it flag it again?

Have you check the properties of the link to make sure it's linking to what you think it is?

      Re: spybot s&d

I will ask the user to re-create the short cut,
the shortcut for sure is what it's intented for.. that sms prog.

what do you mean by "It seems RSE721 is a dialer"?

      Thanks,

By dialer he means that it can use your modem to dial up to the internet.

As with the other suggestions let Spybot remove the link.

Where did the offending program come from??

Why is it installed on company laptops??

          Re: spybot s&d

The program is an internal program, used to send SMS to clients,
its legit program coded by one of our users.
my spybot does not find that on the scan, so why it happens on another user's machine?
i don't get the dialer part, this shortcut is needed for the user.

          Thanks,

            Re: spybot s&d

I don't have an installation of Spybot on my system but i think you can put in exclusions so you could add it to that.

BTW a google search throws up this
