  • IBM DS3200 Reset Password

Hi all I'm Shane and am new here.

I know this is a borderline question to assist with so if people don't want to post a reply can you pm me?

I need to make some storage changes to our company DS3200, however whenever I access the storage manager software actions I am prompted for a password. None of the other IT members here is aware of the password nor can I find documentation on this.

Is there a way to bypass this password or reset it without resetting the store altogether, which would result in our store being lost.

I have chased up my IBM provider but have not received response as of yet.

Any help is appreciated. If you need more info let me know.

    From here

Change all four SAS connectivity module user passwords.
Note: This step is not required, but it is recommended.
The default password for all four SAS connectivity module user IDs (USERID, USERID1, USERID2, and USERID3) is PASSW0RD, spelled in all capital letter and with a zero (0) instead of the letter O. For security reasons, it is recommended that you change these to four new and unique passwords. You can change a SAS connectivity module user password from the User Management page.
