  • bootable usb for Windows 2k

I've got an old Toshiba PC note-book ( Portege 3480CT) . I would like to perform
a clean install of the existing O.S. - Windows 2000 Pro.
The PC has no CDRom or floppy devices attached. I couldn't find in any PC shop or support center an appropriate external CD device.
The BIOS is not either supporting a boot using USB. Using "PLoP boot manager" program ( http://www.raymond.cc/blog/archives/...ed-using-plop/) I can see now the USB (boot from) in the start menu.
I need a program wich can make a USB bootable and support W2k installation

    thanks

Have a look at the sticky in the Misc forum, I posted a link in the Freeware Tools thread to an HP utility for formatting USB drives.
