  • Auto upgrade to latest version

Can any one advise the best way to update an office 2000 install to the latest XP office with all the latest SP's AND post SP3 updates. I've got 250 users and dont want to visit every desk. Ideally i'd like to create a batch file for every one to run at login

The best and easiest way is to slipstream the software into a network share then deploy the software via GPO.

I get the drift of slipstreaming, and making an update package for Office XP SP3 would be straightforward, but what about the 40-50 Mb of subsequent updates that are required. How do i include these?

      Thanks

You should also be able to slipstream those.

Or you could implement a system like WSUS.
