  • Protecting signature in Word 2003

My VP scaned his signature and inserted in letters he will be e-mailing out, however he says he wants to protect that scaned siganutre so that no one can copy and paste it from the letters and use it for something esle.
    Can it be done ?
    Many thanks

No, if the other person can see it can be copied
I have advised executives to create a alternate public signature.

In the same vein, many SEC filings now either omit the signature or use a 'fake' one.
