  • Excell 2003 with sienticfic notation

Hi I would like to know how to use scientific notation in excel.

    Can anyone help?

I'll use the following as an example.

    5.42 103 = 5,420

    Thanks

    Did you try
    1 1 was a racehorse.
    2 2 was 1 2.
    1 1 1 1 race 1 day,
    2 2 1 1 2

USe the letter "E" to stand for "10 to the power of"
        e.g. 1.23E5 becomes (suitably formatted) 123400
