    Re: new mail popup

    What Outlook client are they using? In Outlook 2003, there is an option to configure Desktop Alert Settings at:

    Tools -> Options -> E-mail Options -> Advanced E-mail Options -> Desktop Alert Settings
    ** Remember to give credit where credit is due and leave reputation points where appropriate **

      No, new mail notification only works for the Current Default Inbox, you'll also notice any rules which send mail to another folder also do not get a desktop alert.

      This is the same with adidtional mailboxes.

        You could configure a general "Alert" using a rule. It won't have sender info., subject, or a snippet of the content but you could say "you just received a message to blank_ account".
