  • Problem uninstalling office 2003

    hey all, got a problem, i recently downloaded a copy of the new microsoft office 2007 beta 2, and in turn, tried to remove office 2003 but i always get this message appears about 1 minute after clicking remove.........



    can anyone help me??

    Can you run the setup from the Office 2003 CD to remove it?

      nah, i dont have a cd, my cousins work mate bought it, and lent it to my cousin, and he installed it on my system! and the guy who bought office 2003 has left the place where he used to work.

              Boot from a Windows 98 boot disk, and these commands will remove Office 2003 for you:

              Code:
              FDISK
              select the disk and partition you want to access, select the 
              option to delete a partition, and confirm as required.  Exit FDISK
              
              Reboot with the Windows XP setup disk you purchased from 
              the shop and follow the on-screen prompts

              They'll also remove everything else on your system, but I've no sympathy at all for someone who asks for support for their ILLEGAL software on a forum for IT Professionals...
