  • How to onclick of tick box display different values in combo?

    Hi all,

    Can any of you access guru's help please? I have a combo box which displays numbers from 0.5,1,1.5 to 10. What I am trying to achieve on click of a tick box convert those numbers to negative.

    I have created a query which converts to negative and outputs to a negative table but I cant get the dynamic part working where a user checks the box to get the alternative. Any help is appreciated - thanks

    Can you give us a clue which application this is in please?
    Post the file if you can -- zipped and definitely virus scanned!

      Sorry I thought I put the application details in. So its Access 2007, and what I am trying to do is I have my positive hours drop down and a query which converts them to negative hours. Is there a way to get either a check box or some other method to switch between the positive and negative hours?

      Thanks

        I got this working in the end by using:

        Code:
        Me.comboname = -(Me.comboname)
        DoCmd.RunCommand acCmdSaveRecord
        So simple yet so hard to work out - I hate computers
