    Hello,

    I am wondering what happens:

    1) I open a docx attachment in outlook web access (exchange 2007 if that matters)

    2) it opens in word

    3) I edit the file

    4) I click "save" and shutdown the computer

I did not do "save as" so where did word 2007 save this file?

I already checked the IE temporary files but it's not there.

Does anybody know of a temp folder for word? Where is it?

    thanks,

    Lieven

Have you checked the email attachment that you initially edited? Has the part you edited been saved there?

Any reason why you don't use the Save as option and save the edited document to your My Documents folder?
