    Hi,

Can you paste into somewhere else, Ie Notepad, Word to rule out any clipboard issues. Also are there any events logged on the MS Office log?
Also when did you notice when this started.

ususim, I have XP & Office 2007 SP2 and I also can't paste direct into Excel from the clipboard. However if I save the Print Screen shot to an image, I am then able to Insert the image via the Insert Tab, Picture tool.

Will try and remember to test this with Excel 2003 later today after some sleep.

XP and office 2007 SP1 in here and it works fine.

That narrows it down to SP2 then.

No problems here with Vista (SP2), Office 2007 SP2

          ALT+PRINTSCRN and CTRL+V works fine

Re: Microsoft Office Excel cannot paste the data

Forgot to mention above that I have XP SP3.

Tried the same ALT + PRINTSCREEN on XP SP2 with Excel 2003 and the Paste worked. Will upgrade to SP3 and see what happens.

Upgraded XP SP2 to SP3 and I can still Paste into Excel 2003.

There has to be something stopping the capture being saved into the Clipboard.

              Hi all,

Yes, Windows XP Pro with Office 2007 Excel works fine. However, Windows Vista SP2 + Office 2007 Excel SP1/SP2, both obtained same error; Windows 7 + Office 2007 Excel SP2 also getting the same error.
