  • Outlook 2007 Folder view issues

    This is just random....

In 2003 I can see all the shared public folders off of our Exchange server (2003), but since I have upgraded to 2007 I can still see the public folders - but I can no longer view anything inside the public folders.

Anyone run across something like this?

Just to add to this - it appears to be a security issue of some sort - but I cannot work out where the issue is coming from!!

I have used google-fu and come up with the following information:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Offi ce\12.0\Outlook\Security DWORD value: AdminSecurityMode Values: 0: Use the default Outlook security settings Note This is the default setting if the AdminSecurityMode registry entry is not present.
1: Use the security policy from the Outlook Security Settings public folder
2: Use the security policy from the Outlook 10 Security Settings public folder
3: Use the security policy from the GPO settings
I have tried all 4 settings (0) was the default.

Public folder security on Outlook 2003 (which still works - so I know it isn't an account issue):

The above is default security pushed out by the .prf for Outlook.

These are the options that I get with outlook 2007:

    Anyone have any thoughts?
