  • setting Delegate editor permission on windows vista restrict acces to view

    Hi,

I am a system administrator for CDMA company I recently configured calendar sharing for the CEO's secretary to allow her manage the CEO's meetings, appoinments and general programs. From the CEO's system (Windows Vista), Using the Delegates option from Tools on outlook 2007 I added the secretary as a delegate and gave her the Editor permission. After selecting the "My delegates only option, but send a copy of meeting requests and responses to me (recommended)" i received a prompt which says only a viewed access will be sent to the secretary. I have done this on my system with another colleague and it works. Is it possible that I have tis problem because CEO uses Vista while the secretary uses XP.

    I need your answers urgently.

    Hi,

The only thing i can think of to hand with Vista is to make sure "User Account Control" is switched off.

What happens if you add another editor on the CEO account. Do they get the same problem????
