  • Seperate Workgroups- Is It Worth My Time?

I would never use separate work groups because I use a Domain Controller, but just out of curiosity, wanted to hear some other views.

Using separate work groups, I don't get it. All computers can still see each other, share, print, etc, anyways, so........

    What's the purpose?

Its better to use AD integrated account for work environment because you have the flexiblity to do more than work workgroups. and it should be this way.

workgroup. is bad idea. You can't centrally controll your network. You have to use local account to access local resources etc.. Every settings on clients must be change manually on local computers.

there are so many CONs for workgroups computers to list here..
