  • How to block a L2tp vpn ?

    I have block port 1723 for pptp vpn with ipsec mmc snap-in, but I cannot block port UDP500 for L2tp, how to do.......? thx

    Why can't you block udp500?
    Why are you trying to block these methods? From what, a single machine or lots of machines.
    Need more info to help really.

      I use the mmc snap-in ipsec for single machine, it didn't allow me with a prompt "Port 500 is used for IKE....... " thx

        You should be able to do block udp 500 (ISAKMP) on any decent firewall.

          Isn't L2TP running on port 1702?
          Can you block that?
