Can anyone suggest a cure to this problem. Every time I try to access a PPS or WMV file on a web page on this PC created by HTML code or by using MS Front page, I get a box warning stating

Your current security settings do not allow this file to be downloaded.

All other files can be displayed, and once the web page and relevant files are uploaded I and anyone is of course allowed to display all the files. I am using Windows XP with Internet Explorer 8, and as far as I can tell my Security settings of the IE 8 are the standard default setup. I am also using full AVG but the warning still shows if I disable AVG for awhile.

    Re: Security Settings

If you are not sure your browser's settings are currently set to default, click on tools, internet options, advanced tab. There you will see a reset button. If you click on it, it will reset IE 8 to defaults.

Thanks I tried it but no luck even again by disabling AVG for a mo.
