  • separate networks using CIDR

    I have a 192.168.1.0 network.
There are 60 stations with static IP in the following scope:
    192.168.1.20 - 192.168.1.100
I am suppose to give visitors with laptops access to the Internet, so
    I opened a DHCP scope:
    192.168.1.101 - 192.168.1.200

Is there a way to separate the two networks so that the laptop
users won't be able to reach the other network?
    (All should have Internet access)

I was thinking about adding another router just for the wireless users,
but how do I route one Internet line across 2 routers?

    Thanks

BTW, the router and switch are standard, nothing fancy

Is the switch managed or unmanaged? You say "standard" but managed switches are somewhat standard these days

You could split one Internet connection between two isolated networks by having each network behind a router, the upstream ports of which go to the downstream ports of another router connected to the WAN - however there are more graceful ways of achieving what you want.

Or if the router has another spare interface you could just isolate the two networks that way.
What type of router have you got? You might not need another router, just another switch for the wireless network if you are using no wireless controllers.
Just need to be a bit more particular on what you've got first.
