want to connect three networks with each other via two media one ethernet/fiber optic and other through wireless as backup link.
i will highly appreciate if somebody could let me know how can i connect these three networks so that if my ethernet/ fiber optic connection fails than computer on networks can still communcate via wireless link (i mean if ethernet/fiber optic fails then wireless link should automatically be established

    for this purpose
which device i must use for networks connectivity

    Re: wireless as backup link

More details needed -- how far apart are the networks, is there a LoS for wireless, how much traffic is there?

Roughly, 2 default gateways with different metrics so traffic gets preferentially routed over the fibre/ethernet

        Re: wireless as backup link

thanks to all guys for reply
i have attached the scenario for my topology i want to connect my three locations with router basically i have fiber optic as wired media and redundant link is wireless as back up
how should i connect my these three location using fiber optic
        i have proposed my solution
router>>>>core switch>>> 3 access switches that are placed in three buildings
i will highly appreciate if somebody provide me batter solution than above one
i also want to connect my three buildings using wireless link as backup link so that if fiber link fails i can use wireless link.
how can i connect my these buildings using wireless link (what devices i needed for wireless connectivity)
how can i connect my wireless link to my router and configure my router if my fiber link fail than router can automaticaly switch to wireless network
i will highly appreciate if somebody let me know other divce that can be use instead of router.
        Regards

          Re: wireless as backup link

I think the router is the best option to do this.
configure it with two routes - one for wired, one for wireless.

          then, do what Ossian said.
Set up cost based routing, so that traffic will route over the lower cost (wired) link unless it's not there.

How far apart are the buildings?
            1 1 was a racehorse.
            2 2 was 1 2.
