  • How can i access my own network site by name

    Please help me how can i solve my problem.
    I have my Own network with 500 PC. I have my Own Network server with installation of MS Window server 2003 SP2
    and Active directory installed and configure with DNS server.
    I also installed web server and launch my own network Web site. My network PCs access my Website
    Site using the IP address of my Server as 172.20.3.1i want that my PCs access my site using name like
    ANYNAME.NET What step should be taken in this issue please guide or reply me

    Not much to do with certification -- moved to networking.

    Basically, set up DNS to resolve your public names (domain.com) to local IPs

      Are you referring to an intranet? Try http://<name-of-your-server> without a .com .net etc So, if your web server was named gazzy you would type http://gazzy

      If you have more than one website on the server you need to configure host headers and use those in the address instead.
      A recent poll suggests that 6 out of 7 dwarfs are not happy
