  • Network Monitor Agent (Driver) for remote computers

    Hi everyone,
I have a small network of PC and I`d like to monitor their packets and connection to the internet. I don`t have a Windows Network Monitor (full version), unfortunately only the basic version and so I am not able to monitor other computers .
I have read on the internet that a workaround would be to install the Network Monitor Agent (Driver) on each computer on the LAN and the make the connection to the interface application.
I am now lost looking for a website that explain how to download and configure the Agent…. If anybody knows please help!
    Thanks in advance!

    All the packets?
And what do you think to win with it?

Yes, all packets if possible so to have a better idea.
In this way I can monitor for bottlenecks or find causes of a slow internet connection.

With sniffer captures there is a lot to analyse. Did you ever captured traces on your own pc, let say for a week, and analysed it?
It will cost you ages and therefore IMHO I would recommend you against it.
Use it when there is a problem which needs to be analysed.

Thanks! The general idea is to use it only on those critical situations.
I was more looking for a tool able to monitor my LAN`s computers, as Windows Network Monitor does.
Or another idea would be to monitor the router packets...what do you suggest?
          Thanks for your info!
