  • Need help with iptables

Hi all,i have squid3 installed on ubuntu 10.04 server with2 NIC's (eth0 = internet,eth1 = lan) and iptables configured with routing and masquerade between two nic's to squid port 3128.
But the problem is i recieve the internet from dmz port on juniper, that mean eth0 have same ip range and same subnet that have eth1 and its not working...
If i changing the ip range and mask on eth1 all is ok,but i cant to do this for some reasons,i need to solve this problem when to nic's with same range and mask...

Any idea how to solve it?

I don't think you can masquerade from one subnet onto the same subnet....

could you tell me exactly what you're trying to do ?

i'm not saying you can't or shouldn't masquerade, just that I'm pretty sure you can't masqeruade onto the same subnet..
