  • factory default 2611 router

    Hello,
I have 3 2611 routers in my home lab and today I was restoring them to factory default to start a new lab. However one of the routers keeps giving me the following error

    %error opening tftp://10.78.2.1/network-config (timed out)

How do I remove this from nvram?

When do you get this error?

      After I did

      R1# Erase Start

It started showing the error, I then did

      R1#reload

then router then did a restart, at the end of the boot up process I receive the error again.

        Re: factory default 2611 router

Ok I figured it out. I had to do the following:

        Router>en
        Router#
        Router#config t
        Router(config)#no service config

        This resolved the issue.
