  • I'm not able to ping with local machines

    Hi ,
    I'm using Windows 7 and my other clients are Windows XP and Windows Vista, Sometimes when I use the ping tool to check the connectivity it will show as "Request Timed Out" but if I try to take remote desktop I'm able to connect I hope this may some problem in some services please give your suggestions

    Almost certainly a firewall rule blocking ping (ICMP) packets

      Check if the ICMP packets are being blocked by the firewall, either incoming or outgoing.
