    If it is rack mounted, you can get up to about 15 kilos before the bolts give way
    on the floor, it will take a saloon car driving over it


    Seriously, AFAIK there is no other way than to generate a load -- lots of clients doing network intensive work such as copying large volumes of data

      What kind of tests are you interested in? Just sheer PPS monitoring before the thing starts freaking out? As Ossian stated, you just need to hammer it with traffic. Use a network traffic generator, such as the aptly named Network Traffic Generator program at SourceForge.
