    when i open my local network places
    property
    to see ips nic i see
    ip address 192.168.1.50
    subnetmask 255.255.255.0
    defaultgetway 10.0.0.1
    and connect normly
    with internet
    and open sites on internet normly
    on my network
    no isa
    and i didnt i didnt add getway and ip address
    i want to know cases of that
    thanks

    Is there anything statically set?
    Is the NIC set to DHCP.
    Do other clients see the same
    You don't need ISA to have proxy settings setup.

        Is it running on a Domain?
        Is this a private/standalone PC?

        If not the above, did you run a setup CD from your ISP when you got broadband?

                First of all start changing your Default gateway.
                Default gateway outside your own subnet won't work.
