  • Mac address to port mapping - nortel switch

    Hi all,

I would like to add a static mapping of MAC address to port (interface) in my Nortel 5520 router. i didn't find the command for doing that.
the equivalent command in cisco router is:
    mac-address-table static

    thanks for your help,
    kev.

Re: Mac address to port mapping - nortel switch

    The command is:
    Code:
    ip arp <A.B.C.D> <aa:bb:cc:dd:ee:ff> <unit / port> [vid <1 - 4094>]
You can download the manuals from here http://support.nortel.com/go/main.js...139&poid=14761
    and the zip http://www116.nortel.com/docs/bvdoc/...n_20080403.zip

You'll find these instructions on page 65 of the Configuration - IP Routing Protocols
