  • Broadcast storms EMI grounding

Recently I discovered Iíve been getting these broadcast storms on my network after a new electrical service was implemented.
After contacting another the electrician to troubleshoot we noticed there was no grounding wire to each outlet,so one was installed, that worked for a while, but it started again especially in cold weather and lack of humidity, I ran all of my cat5e to one central switch in homeruns, minding to stay at least 18 inches of electrical conduits, and no more that 8 workstations to a 20 amp circuit. My associate said he got a light shock from a network jack is it possible I need to ground my switch rack? Would this cause excessive EMI and collisions?
