    Please forgive me if this is a stupid question, but i am only just experimenting with wireless network and learning....

    is is poss to have a wireless network without a intenet connection. if so would any wireless router do the job.

    there are no stupid questions if you ask in the correct forum...

    Yes it is possible to use wireless without an internet connection. any wireless router will do you. It would then give you access to other computers on your network.

    also check out the linksys learning center for useful info, or post back here.
