  • TL-MR3420 can't connect to Huawei HiLink E3256

    Hi all.
I have a lot of problems getting my new 3G modem working on my new TP-Link router.
The modem is a Huawei HiLink E3256 and the router is a TP-Link TL-MR3420.
The company is danish Oister and they are using 3's net.
We have plenty of signal and our mobile, who are also Oister works fine.
The router keeps trying to indentify the modem, and sometimes it works but only for a limited
    time
I have tested the 3G modem over night with the same USB extension cable in a labtop and there where no dropouts
or disconnections at all, so I suspect the router.

Does anyone have any advise what to do ?
Shall I get another router or modem ?

    Regards
    Christian

How does the modem connect to the router?

I have had issues with a USB modem into a TP-Link 3g router where the modem wasn't on the compatibility list until you updated the firmware
