  • Speedtouch 610s, How to set up multiple Public IP address?

I have a Speedtouch 610s and my ISP have assigned me with 8 public address. I have set up the router to use DHCP spoofing so that it passes the first public ip address to my server, but also want to forward additional address to the same server. Has anyone set up their server / router this way, and have any advice.

    Thanks

Did your ISP provide the 610?
Without reading the manual I don't know if the 610 will do multiple IPs and sorry I'm not prepared to read the manual. (The Speedtouch Pro manual was 340 pages long.) Do you have the manual? If not:

It looks like a pretty slick device. http://www.speedtouch.com/pdf/datasheet610.pdf

Re: Speedtouch 610s, How to set up multiple Public IP address?

I've been running speedtouch 610s and 630s, but have just started to repalce them with zyxels. (The inbuilt dmz port on the zyxel is giving me a lot of opportunities).
The only way I found of getting multiple private IPs on the speedtouch was by creating script files and uploading them - so you want to be looking at the other speedtouch manual - the coding one..
(Unfortunately, as I suspected I've cleared the alcatel data completely from my system)
The speedtouches are very good bits of kit, but personally for value for money, the zyxels take some beating..
If you want to look at coding the speedtouch, have a look at the ISPs who provide speedtoouches - some leave coding examples in their support sections for download .. try this for starters - it gives a good intro to ini files on speedtouch ..

sorry - forgot to metion -read tthat web doc carefully, because it also explains that the 8 IPs from your ISP are not all usable by you - you'll typically end up with 5 - check with YOUR ISP which ones you are able to use.. (in your own case it may be 6)
