  • Alcatel STP / NAT / PCAnywhere

I am trying to set up a PCAnywhere connection to an Alcatel ST which was converted to Pro.
I entered the required entries in the NAT table (port 5631 for tcp and 5632 for udp). The PC running the PCAnywhere host has a permanent internal IP number.
It does not work and I have some questions:

Although the modem was converted to Pro, it still uses a dial-up program (i.e. it was not converted to ppp, alwyas on connection). Can this prevent the operation of NAT?
Should I turn the firewalling option to off?

Another option could be to try and use the XP built in remote desktop service. What is the port configuration for that?
