  • Computer as a server, problems?? >>>THE DEFINITE SO

The problem that most of us encountered was that after following Petri's instructions to create a pinhole using NAT, we still get a timeout error when we try to access the outside address from the web-browser...

This is really lame, but let me tell you that your computer is already a server and can be accessed from outside, even though you see that error!!! You see that error because you try to enter the outside IP address from inside the network... Tell a friend to enter your public IP, and voila he's connected to your server!!!

In order to communicate to your server, you have to use your private IP!!!

Hope that answers the questions of many ppl!!!
