  • pcima card issue

    i can buy used compaq presario v2000 notebook.unfortunately i delete all net connetion & drivers.coz i dont need net connhection that time.i acn disable network connection also.
    now i want to connect wireless net connection.i go to tata indicom(india) to enquir about wireless net connection.he says 'u should need to buy a v data card(rs 5000%) & net sim card'.i cant get what is v data card.he explains, its a pcima card,to insert pcima card slot.
    im confused.coz already i can run'belarch advisor' ,to find installed hardware in my system.its shows,my system have net adapter(1394 realtek family).what is that? its a pcima card or not?
    belarch advisor shows my system communication have fax data modem,2394 net adapter.earlier what i think was,its enough to connect net in wireless.but i can contact tata indicom,he says ,i need to buy a v data card.i dont know what is v data card,pcima card & aircard.anybody explain what is the difference between that 3's.my qusition is,
    1- what i need to buy a new accoesssories to connect a wireless net connection.?(in indian isp only)
    2-if my system already have pcima card(used)can i use this?
    3-if possible to edit pcima card(used) configuration(phone numbers,ip address,old mail id& passwords)?
    4-if possible to connect net with others (used)pcima card,my self?
    5-any wireless internet connection(unlimioted) prepaid cards availabel in indian isp(in tata indicom,not availble now)?
    6-wireless net connection prepaid card (unlimited offer)available in airtel?
    7-if i go to buy a new wireless connection prepaid card,what documents shoul i bring them?
    8-if possible to buy wireless net connection prepaid starter pack in a hour?
    9-its like a mobile sim card strter pack procedure or more?
    10-any indian isp's offer wireless net connection,without phone connection(i dont have phone connection)?
    10-i dont have phone coonection.if possible to connect net wirelessly or phone connection must?
    plz anybody explain me?

      1394 is firewire I think - not network...

        Correct, although you can network through it. Example: back in the day I used to run ICS on my desktop to get my laptop internet access. They were connected to each other via 1394.
