    Re: which is my NIC?

Very small, can't see it with my resolution. If you secret operating system is a Microsoft product, go into Device Manager and look under Network devices. If Win98, Start, Run, WINIPCFG and press ENTER. The pulldown option in the top right (or is it left) will list your NICs and their IPs. If Windows NT, 2000, XP, 2003 Server or Vista, Start, Run (gee, is that on Vista), cmd, ENTER. On the black screen tryp IPCONFIG /ALL (it is not case sensitive) and press ENTER. It will list all interface devices and any IPs they have.

If that doesn't help, then post back with info we can read. Ta.

Just says "Ethernet card" but since you have NVidia drivers, it is likely to be an "nForce Networking Controller"
