  • Configure the Checkpoint as a Router

    Hi All,

I have router ECI 312+ with IP 10.0.0.138 that connect me to the internet (and get legal IP address).
I have CheckPoint server with IP 10.0.0.1 that conncet directly to the ECI.
I have XP station with IP 10.0.0.2 and default GW 10.0.0.1 (It's work and I have internet connection).

The router also function as NAT.
My question is ... There is a way to cancel the NAT service in the router and make the Checkpoint function as a router with the IP's that I have.

Thanks and sorry for the bad english.

Private IP cannot be routed on the Internet. If you want to do away with NAT you'll need to obtain a bank of public IP large enough for all your network devices.
