  • configuring DMZ to access mysql on asa 5510

    I am new in ASA..Please can anyone give me advise...

    Here is my ASA interfaces config..e0 outiside 120.x.x.1/240..e0/1 inside 192.168.10.1...e0/1 DMZ 192.168.11.1..sql server 192.168.11.163...


    I having this error when I connecting to my sql..

    Warning: mysql_connect(): No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it.


    Please need help on this..

      By the description, it sounds more like a SQL or firewall issue. If you put a PC in the same DMZ address range as the SQL server and try to connect, does that work? If not, the ASA isn't your problem.

      If that test works, then which interface are you trying to connect to the SQL from: internal or external?
