  • Cisco Asa 5505 - Trouble with RDP

    Hello everyone,
I'm hoping someone has an answer for me, as I'm stumped. I've got an Asa 5505 that I just added a few new access rules to limit smtp traffic to only the server. After I did this, I am able to connect the vpn successfully, ping and telnet the asa, but I can no longer ping or RDP any workstations or servers. This was all working before I added three lines. The lines I added were:

access-list inside_nat0_outbound extended permit tcp host 192.168.1.3 any eq smtp
access-list inside_nat0_outbound extended deny tcp any any eq smtp
access-list inside_nat0_outbound extended permit ip any any

I'm going to include the running config from the asa in hopes someone has a direction for me to go.
Thanks ahead of time to who ever can throw out some ideas!

Please see the attachment for the config, Thanks!

Still not sure what happened, but I created a new VPN connection and everything is back and working.

Mods can close this tread if they want.

    Thanks
