Hello I have a asa 5510 and routing problems.

    The inside network is 192.168.55.0/24
The asa is 192.168.55.1 and the default gateway for this network.

    I have a remote network 192.168.44.0/24 to access the 44.0/24 subnet i have a second gateway 192.168.55.228

Now i created a static rule on the inside interface 192.168.44.0 255.255.255.0 192.168.55.228.
I get problems with syc en ack packages, i added the option:
    same-security-traffic permit intra-interface

i cannot connect to the 44.0/24 subnet, what can i do i have no layer 3 switch, and the router 192.168.55.228 is a managed router and the want to create a static route.

    Who can help me.

    Re: Static Routes

    Give this a try:
    Code:
    route inside 192.168.44.0 255.255.255.0 192.168.55.228 1
    And remove the static route.

        Re: Static Routes

Is the router upstream from the asa? A diagram would be helpfull. Why is the inside interface on the same subnet as the other router? Typically a packet cant come in an interface on teh ASA and go out the same interface. Please post a descriptive diagram etc with configs.
