  • IPSec tunnel on secondary IP

    Hi,

Is it possible to create IPSec tunnel by using Secondary public IP address of interface.?

(Note:The primary address of interface is already having IPSec tunnels with couple of remote peers)

    Regards.

Re: IPSec tunnel on secondary IP

I am not aware of anyway to get the ipsec tunnel to use the secondary ip address as the source. In the crypto-map "name" local-address command it doesnt let you specify an ip address, just an interfacce. You could setup a GRE tunnel. That does let you specify a source address. Then you may be able to reference that interface in your crypto-map. You would then being encrypting GRE in IPSEC.
