    Hello,

    i just joined an organization which is heavy Cisco, adn they have a Cisco ASA 525 on the production environment. We have a email device that sends email for our website, adn recently we got attacked by a spider. i want to know if thier is a way on the ASA that i can say if any IP address hits it more than x amount of times a minute, ban that ip address ?

    Hi ankit0680,

    I am not sure if your question has been answered but here's the deal. You can set connection timeouts which basically using class-map commands. But in order to "shun" those connection automatically you need to have the AIP SSM module "IPS module". You can get more details in the configuration guide on how to configure either or.
