  • Creating Rule through ADSM or CLI?

    Hi there,
I have just started learning CISCO Firewalls and bought one PIX.
I just need to know if we can manage PIX or ASA CISCO device through web based using (PDM or ADSM) or do we have to create policy through CLI?

In our company we are using CISCO ASA 5510 and I just peeked into its ADSM and found everything there, do I still need CLI to create/configure device?

    Thanks for any advice.

CLI is always handy for eq troubleshooting.
Also PDM makes a great mess of you're config.

However, you can use PDM on a pix.
