  • How to reset cisco pix 501 to Factory default?

    I have a cisco pix 501. i dont have its configuration at all.
    how can i reset it to factory defaults?

    if you have the passwords: login and run the command configure factory-default

            well:

            if you follow: http://www.cisco.com/warp/public/110...ml#pix_without
            and set the passwords, you can login.

            after that, run configure factory-default

                what about this tftp server?
                i tried to install a server on the local host but i get the error TFTP failed (return:-1 arg:0x0) when i run the tftp command from the telnet
                what can it be?

                      What about the tftp that is built into XP?
                      1 1 was a racehorse.

                        AFAIK Windows XP doesn't have a TFTP server only a TFTP client.

                          Solar Wind is a good third party TFTP server By default in Windows XP there is no TFTP server
                          All in 1
                          Solaris,Linux & Windows admin + networking.
